Helping you heal from trauma in Rural Central Alberta

As a former paramedic, I know firsthand the impact trauma can have on mental health. That is why I became a therapist - to provide real help while using evidence-based techniques to help you feel better.

You don’t have to figure this out on your own — help is available.

Plant reaching towards the sky

Trauma effects both our body and mind. Together we work to build a feeling of safety that allows you to work through the thoughts and emotions.

These skills aren’t just for healing trauma. They also help people navigate anxiety, overwhelm, stress, and other difficult experiences by building resilience.

Working from a trauma‑informed, strengths‑based framework means:

  • Your experiences and goals direct the work

  • You already have coping skills, we build on that and build practical tools to use in daily life

  • We can do more than talk, we use the body and mind to work on the issues. Things like drawing, painting, walking, breathing exercises

  • Our work can help bring clarity to a situation

I walk beside you not in front of you.

I support clients navigating:

  • Grief, loss, and palliative care

  • Life changes and difficult situations

  • Effects of anxiety

  • Stress, overwhelm and burnout

  • First responders and frontline professionals

  • Pre- and postpartum changes

  • Caregiver stresses

  • Dementia and aging

  • Medical trauma and chronic illness

  • Nervous system regulation and somatic support

My goal is to help you feel grounded, supported, and more connected to yourself — not just during sessions, but in your daily life. Click to get more information
