Walk & Talk Therapy
Spending time outdoors has well‑documented benefits—fresh air, sunlight, and connection with nature all support our wellbeing. Walk & Talk Therapy builds on these advantages by combining movement with conversation. Walking side‑by‑side can make it easier to open up, while also helping the body regulate its response to emotions. For many, this approach feels more natural and less formal than sitting indoors.
That said, there are important considerations:
• Weather and health: Outdoor conditions and your physical wellbeing play a significant role in whether this option is suitable.
• Confidentiality: While we are mindful of surroundings and do our best to minimize interruptions, we cannot fully guarantee privacy in public spaces.
• Unexpected encounters: If we meet someone you know during a walk, your therapist will follow your lead in how to respond. Planning for this ahead of time helps ensure comfort.
Before beginning Walk & Talk Therapy, your therapist will schedule an initial meeting to determine if this approach is a good fit, discuss possible scenarios, and review a consent form together.
If you’re curious about exploring this option, we’d be happy to connect with you.

Therapy doesn’t have to mean sitting still.
Step outside, breathe deep, and let’s talk it out.
