Our services are provided by registered social workers (RSW). A majority of insurance providers cover services provided by a RSW. Check with your provider to determine if BSW or MSW services are covered. .

Social workers look at more than just the person, we look at the environment and how that can effect a person. We work to maximize your strengths while advocating for change.

Masters of Social Work (MSW)

  • Building on the skills of a BSW with advanced clinical education, can offer specialized therapy, mental-health treatment, and trauma-informed counselling



Bachelors of Social Work (BSW)

  • Can assist with completing paperwork for benefits such as AISH, Alberta Seniors

  • Basic assessments and counseling to enhance wellness

  • Assist with navigating social systems such as healthcare and persons with developmental disabilities

In short, a BSW focuses on support and guidance, while an MSW is qualified to provide psychotherapy and advanced clinical interventions.
